Does anybody know why these two IBES fields can be different? If keep only obs. with curcode == “USD”, there are still plenty actuals in different currencies (curr_act != “USD”) - does this really mean that the data, e.g. actual EPS, is in a foreign currency?

Ok, thanks.

Yes, these seem to be cross-listed firms in non-US dollars. To be 100% sure, you could look at the actual EPS (unadjusted) and verify with the earnings press release.

best regards,
